The Golden Lion Tamarin Has A Long, But Is It A Prehensile Tail?

Also known as the Golden Marmoset, the endangered Golden Lion Tamarin has a long, but it's not a prehensile tail. This simply means that the Golden Lion Tamarin is unable to grasp or hold objects with its tail.


This small New World monkey of the family Callitrichidae, and lives in the Atlantic coastal forests of Brazil.
